Holyhead is a busy port town on Holy Island off the western tip of the Isle of Anglesey in Wales. It occupies a natural harbour protected by a long Victorian breakwater and serves as the principal ferry terminal to Dublin; nearby features such as Holyhead Mountain and South Stack give the area dramatic cliffs, seabird colonies and popular coastal walks.
