South Tottenham is an inner-London ward in the London Borough of Haringey, centred on the Overground stop and the busy streets around Seven Sisters. It sits on the edge of north-east London and is characterised by a mix of Victorian terraced housing, pockets of newer residential development and good rail and bus links into the centre.
The area is notably diverse, with long-established Turkish, Kurdish and Afro-Caribbean communities and close ties to the Orthodox Jewish neighbourhood of Stamford Hill. Local high streets are lively with independent shops, cafes and small businesses, while social and economic contrasts are visible as regeneration and rising prices reshape parts of the ward.
